Katy Ellen Snelgrove founded Powerful-Direction in 2023, following a 20 year career in system change leadership. After graduating from the University of Birmingham, she worked on a large scale change program for West Midlands Police Force where her passion for rehabilitation grew. Her career took her to Australia in her 20s, where she spent five years as a government change agent, contributing to the national suicide prevention strategy and launching 'Healthy Minds' in WA. Since returning to the UK, Katy's passion for mental health reform continued and she spent a further decade in health, social care and justice contributing to various government programs. Katy knows that people can and do change and that transformation is possible. Powerful-Direction combines Katy's lived experience of burnout, PTSD & transformation, with her NLP, EFT, leadership and mentoring qualifications and a 20 year career in change. She has helped individuals and teams to overcome negative self beliefs and the fear of change. She specialises in business strategy, personal transformational change and how to achieve optimum wellbeing. Katy supports individuals and teams to break unhealthy habits and to create an environment that sparks joy and balance. She does this by being authentic and sharing her own lived experience of rehabilitation from burnout and stress. Recovery and optimum wellness are the foundation of her work and the solid belief that you can find fulfilment in all aspects of your life. 

Katy is one of our Network Leaders, leading the Elevate Natural Rehabilitation online networking group. She has an ambition to raise awareness of natural rehabilitation models alongside mainstream medicalised models of care, providing people with choice and hope that natural rehabilitation is possible.

While this group consists of professionals who are passionate about change, rehabilitation, and recovery through the use of natural therapy, this group is open to all; whether a website developer, an accountant, a consultant, a health practitioner, and engineer… new business relationships can be forged in this wonderful new group.
