I am Gabriele Strasky – a relationship specialist, matchmaker, speaker, author, and go-to person for all kinds of love and relationship challenges. I'm also the author of the upcoming book LOVE LIKE ROMEO & JULIET WITHOUT THE TROUBLE OF HAVING TO DIE.

My core philosophy of love, matchmaking, and relationships is this:

I have used this approach for many years with clients all over the world, and it has worked for single men and women alike. In fact, I applied what I know to myself in 2013 and found my own Mr. Right within five short weeks. We got married in 2020 and are very happy.

Before running my own matchmaking service, I worked in accounting for big corporations. But in 2001, life led me to help out at a matchmaking service, and somehow, I stayed with it until now.

I was born and raised in Vienna, Austria, in the heart of Europe. I also lived in the US for a while, where I got into matchmaking. I had two great mentors who helped me learn a lot about singles, love, and relationships.

The question most people ask me is, "How did you get into matchmaking?" Well, let me tell you. 

It was happenstance; it was not a planned career move. That summer in 2001—I had just moved to the US—I was asked to scan the pictures that came in the mail and add them to the profiles. Digital cameras were not the norm back then, and photos came in the mail.

Soon, I started talking to the singles, and I noticed that their challenges sounded very familiar. I had experienced similar things. Well, I soon realized that I was not the only one who made mistakes when falling in love.

One of the biggest takeaways was this: Presenting a single with lots and lots of singles to choose from gives that single ample opportunity to repeat past mistakes in an infinity loop. Educating a single will help them attract and choose the right partner for life. 

Since then, I have helped educate singles to enable them to attract and choose the right partner for life by developing a very personal dating strategy. For some of my clients, this meant meeting their ideal partner within days or weeks. 

I have moved back to Vienna, Austria, many years ago and help singles in German and English.
